Steve Jobs is not dead, long live Steve Jobs

Monday 01st of September 2008

Following Bloomberg's accidental publishing of Steve Jobs' obituary, another news provider has stepped in to say what it recommends the Apple chief executive's next move should be.

Forbes believes there are a number of thing that Mr Jobs has yet to accomplish before he leaves Apple or this mortal coil and has suggested that these would be great for the future of the electronics company.

Having integrated touchscreen technology into the mobile phone and spawned many imitators with the iPhone, the article states that an Apple tablet PC would integrate well with other products such as Apple TV.

In addition to this, it states an actual television screen would also work well as a concept and a branded remote control "would be another step toward placing Apple at the centre of the digital living room".

A digital book from the firm could have Amazon's Kindle running for cover and another big desktop reinvention, such as that achieved with the iMac or MacBook Air, could "take the way we interact with personal computers in a new direction".
